6/11/17: Conroe, TX- The Red Brick Tavern: We had a whole afternoon off here in Conroe before our evening show and we were lucky enough to stay with our friend John who we met in Houston last year. I remember John well because we played pool a bunch that night and I never came close to winning. We enjoyed hanging out in his back yard and Austin spent some time doing flips on the trampoline. You can see a sound barrier behind Austin because they were drilling a new water well behind the house. They said the low hum of the drilling goes on 24/7! That night we made our way to the Red Brick, a cool restaurant/ venue/ bar in downtown Conroe. This place was a really great time, and we were so happy with the great response we received. Sometimes if you’re playing at a place that has the word “tavern” in its name you don’t know what to expect but this show was just a ball. They also sent us home with some great pizzas!
