4/7/17: Galloway, NJ- Folk Across the Street. This was an amazing day. We started the morning off by meeting the presenter of the concert, Roland, who showed us around the Rutgers Marine Station. This station area right on the water was originally going to be a highway to Atlantic City in the thirties, but when they couldn’t set the bridge with the deep waters they left the spot. For thirty years Rutgers has been studying the marine life hear on the Atlantic to learn about trends of the different fish and seal in the area. The event we are playing tonight will help raise money to provide scholarships for students to speak at international marine conferences and we were so happy to be a part of such a great organization. This was one of the most beautiful venues and I loved looking up at the lights high in the theater. I felt like I was looking up at the stars. We had a great time here in Galloway and are so happy to have gotten to finally play a couple dates in NJ. Hopefully we will make it back soon!
