2/2/17: Omaha, Nebraska- The Slowdown. Our first show of our month and a half tour! We started off the day with the trek from Chicago to Nebraska. After a long drive we were welcomed to the bar next door inviting us in to hang out and snack before the venue opened. Thanks so much to all those guys over at Hook and Lime! After soundcheck we felt so lucky to get a home cooked vegetarian meal from our good friend Tatum who lived just down the road. We rehearsed in her living room while the food was cooking. This show was a great time, we saw a bunch of old friends and family as well as some new faces. It was great getting people to dance and have fun on this Thursday night. We also were so excited to see our friend Angie Stock. We played at Danstock, the memorial to Dan Stock at Lincoln Hall in Chicago on this day two years ago, and we were so happy to see her again. After the set we went back to their house and hung out with their two huge malamute dogs. Thanks for having us, guys!
