2/3/16: Buffalo, NY- Baptist Manor Retirement Community- We started off our morning early with a stop in Rochester, NY for a radio spot on Rochester’s NPR affiliated station, WRUR. We got to play on the weekday show, Open Tunings, hosted Scott Regan. We met Scott through our Ventosa Vineyard’s show a few days back, and after he saw the band he asked us to be on his program. Since we were playing in Buffalo later that day, Rochester was an easy stop along the way from Geneva. After a great morning radio session we made our way over to Buffalo, NY to play our very first retirement community show! This show was a hidden gem in between the late night bar and music theater shows we have had along the tour, and it was so great to be connected with the Baptist Manor through our old friend, Seamus, over in Traverse city. It was so great, also, to get to meet his sister, who lives here at Baptist Manor. We had a blast getting to play for all of the kind folks here, and with a free evening I will definitely be making my way to the local restaurant, Anchor, the birthplace of Buffalo wings!
