2/17/16: Berthoud, CO- Woods House Concert. The Woods house concert series, in the small town of Berthoud, CO, made for an incredible start to our week of Colorado shows. We stayed with the presenters if this great concert series, Mike and Katie. Mike and Katie didn’t just cook for us and provide us with a place to stay for a day and a half, but also let us borrow their car and drive it the forty five minutes out to Boulder before our show. We had a lot of fun exploring Boulder since we had such a blast playing it in June. After exploring the town and hiking the Flatirons, we headed back to Berthoud for the show. It meant so much to us to have such and enthusiastic audience, and getting to play to a full room made for an excellent concert. We were so thankful that we got to stay a second night at Mike and Katie’s, and when we got back late at night from our concert Katie made us a giant fresh salad with lots of ingredients from their garden. We had a great night hanging out with them and hope to come back again soon!
