2/12/16- Traverse City, WNMC house concert series at the Moon Tower. We all had a great few days off before hitting the road again to play Traverse City and Petoskey! After last year’s vehicle trouble in our northern michigan February run we had decided to take cars instead of our bus. This ended up being a great decision because of the pretty serious snowstorm that we had to drive through. We finally arrived at James’ house, where the concert series is put on. His house is a really special place for a show, with great sound as well as a few cool places to watch the show. There’s even a balcony area from the second floor where people could watch! We were excited to have sold out the concert series, but even more excited to see that James and his girlfriend, Sarah, we’re cooking a whole vegan friendly meal for the band! After listening to some music and enjoying a mushroom lasagna with homemade hummus, we got ready for our set. We had a great time playing to some old friends as well as new faces. It means so much to have people come out despite the harsh weather conditions, and we played music late into the night. James was kind enough to put us up at the house for the night, which was appreciated with the blizzard going on outside. We had a blast at the WNMC concert series and we were so thankful of James being such an awesome host! (Also thanks for the great collage of pictures, James!)
